Our client an independent Boutique agency is looking for an Experienced Lettings Manager to join their team in a prime central London location, handling a portfolio of high-quality residential properties. This rarely available role is not to be missed. Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the lettings department, including valuations, marketing, viewings, offers, referencing, and move-ins.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing landlords, tenants, and corporate clients, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Actively grow the managed property portfolio through business development, networking, and referrals.
- Carry out market appraisals and provide landlords with informed, accurate advice on pricing, marketing strategy, and compliance.
- Ensure all lettings activity complies with current legislation, ARLA, and RICS requirements, as well as internal company procedures.
- Liaise closely with the property management and accounts teams to ensure smooth handovers and tenancy progression.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and KPIs for senior management.
- Manage, train, and motivate lettings staff to achieve individual and departmental targets.
Candidate Profile
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential lettings, including at least 2 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
- Possess detailed knowledge of the Central/Prime London lettings market.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills.
- Have proven success in business development and growing a managed portfolio.
- Be highly organised, self-motivated, and confident working autonomously in a small but dynamic team.
- Display outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with a polished and professional manner.
- Be ARLA-qualified (preferred) or willing to obtain qualification.
