Front of House Lettings Negotiator - Oxford City

Salary £17,000 - £20,000 DOE

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday – 8.45am – 6pm, Friday – 9am – 4.30pm

Saturday – 9am – 3pm (working only one in four Saturdays with a day off in the week)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisenfor a dynamic and conscientious Lettings Negotiator to join the busy lettings team on the front of house in Oxford City. This is a great opportunity to join a market leader gaining a well-rounded view of the industry and with the opportunity of excellent career progression. This is a full time position for a motivated individual that is eager to learn. The ideal candidate will add to the existing positive, supportive and dynamic team at the Oxford City branch and will know the local Oxford area well. It is essential to have a driving license and own car.

  Key Duties & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for welcoming all visitors into the Oxford City branch, managing a database of tenants, arranging and attending viewings, negotiating offers and tenancy administration as well as providing feedback and assisting with move-ins.

 

Duties include:

 



  • Welcoming all visitors in the Oxford City office


  • Lettings administration including carrying out right to rent checks, tenant referencing, preparing tenancy agreements and other associated paperwork


  • Uploading property media to the CRM system and creating suitable property descriptions in order to market a property to its full potential


  • Registering new tenants and match appropriate tenants to properties on and off market


  • Supervision of an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective clients regularly


  • Negotiating tenancy terms for new tenancies and renewals


  • Building and maintaining relationships with landlords and gain an understanding of their needs


  • Efficient diary management


  • Arranging and attend property viewings


  • Arranging property valuations efficiently, recording all requirements and information thoroughly


  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities


  • Keep up with legislation changes ensuring all processes and documents are compliant


  • Demonstrating high standards of professionalism and provide a first class level of customer service at all times


  • Liaising with other departments and offices to ensure excellent communication and sharing of clients, utilising all business opportunities


 

Skills/attributes needed:

 



  • Excellent telephone manner & customer service skills


  • Ability to use and understand CRM systems 


  • Great communicator


  • Accuracy and attention to detail


  • Good local knowledge


  • Good MS Word, Excel & Outlook skills


  • Keen to progress


  • Proactive


  • Team player
