Trainee Property Manager - Epsom

Salary: £18,000 - £20000

Working hours will be 8:45am - 6pm Monday - Friday





Our client is looking for an ambitious Individual who is keen to start a successful career in Property Management.

This is a great opportunity to join a market leading independent Estate Agents based in Epsom, Surrey.  This agent has a reputation for excellent customer service.  The Trainee Property Manager will work alongside the current Property Manager with potential to take on more responsibilities in the near future.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 



  • Liaising with landlords on repairs


  • Organising contractors, liaising with tenants


  • Assessing maintenance/refurbishment requirements


  • Careful purchasing of equipment for flats


  • Appointing the correct contractor


  • Assessing cost of repairs


  • Referencing tenants


  • Setting up tenancy agreements


  • Organising move ins


  • Ensure finances in place prior to move ins


  • Setting up tenants and landlords on Property Management software


  • Organising and carrying out Property visits


  • Conducting follow up visits if required


  • Dealing with insurance claims


 

Skills:





  • Ability to work under pressure and to work in/within a team.


  • Exceptional organisational, verbal and written communication skills.


  • Strong administrative skills.


  • Expert communicator capable of effectively managing conflict and solving problems.


  • Ability to multi-task by employing effective time management strategies.


  • Be well presented and communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and friendly manner.


  • Confidence, enthusiasm and strong dedication to the job and company.


  • Live up to the Department Standard Requirement.


  • Driver with full clean licence
