We are looking for a driven, motivated and tenacious Lettings Negotiator who has proven success in Residential Lettings, to join this well established client within their Morden office. The Ideal candidate will be well presented and have strong communication and time management skills.
Reporting to the Letting Manager the negotiator would help develop the business through property getting, property letting and the selling of Company services, e.g. rent collection, letting services, using effective communication and people skills to ensure a professional image is displayed to the customer.
Main aspects of the job:-
To ensure that a friendly, helpful, honest and efficient attitude is maintained when dealing with the public face-to-face and/or over the telephone, so as to enhance the professional image of the Company and provide a high quality of service.
To deal effectively with any telephone enquiries and to sort out any problems, keeping the Assistant Letting Manager or Branch Manager aware of the progress.
To register and record details of applicants and their requirements.
To arranging suitable accompanied or unaccompanied viewings
To record details on the Property To Let Form for prospective Landlords.
After appropriate training, where possible, value properties, advising the Landlord of the anticipated rental income, and ensuring and negotiating with the Landlord of the services on offer to him/her.
To write up property details, window cards and to arrange advertising of the property.
To confirm any offer on the property in writing and, where necessary, to negotiate between the two parties.
To keep abreast of any new legislation. To fully explain the legal implications to all clients, both Landlord and Tenant, so they are clearly understood.
To follow the Company requirements and guidelines with regard to the use of a Company car.
Always seek to achieve and exceed branch and personal targets
To have a working knowledge of all IT operating systems in the branch.
To carry out any other duties as required or requested by a member of Management.
