- Senior Lettings Negotiator– St Albans
£18,000 - 24,000 + Com OTE £35,000 plus Car Allowance.
Our client is an independent Estate Agency, founded over 30 years ago. The provide first class Estate Agency, Letting Agency and New Homes in Harpenden, Welwyn and St Albans. They are looking for an experienced lettings professional who has a number of years listing experience and the ability to drive growth and win market share. The St Albans office is a British Property Awards GOLD winning business with a genuinely fantastic Culture.
The Role:
Ideal candidate will be proactive & accomplished at winning new business.
Experience negotiating lettings contracts, with at least two years of experience in a busy, successful and recognised Lettings Agency.
Developing relationships with potential Landlords, current Landlords and Tenants.
Strong interpersonal skills are required to create meaningful client relationships.
You will have drive, energy and ambition to generate new business in a very competitive environment, which will include Prospecting on a daily basis.
The ability to provide accurate market appraisal advice and turn initial enquiries into actual business are also pre-requisites of this role.
You must be comfortable dealing with the sector in which we operate, which include a substantial number of London commuters.
You will be fully conversant with acts appropriate to the lettings industry, including but not limited to, the Housing Act, Consumer Protection Regulations 2008 and Property Ombudsman Code of Conduct.
Skill set:
You will have a minimum 2 years of experience in a busy lettings environment, with a proven track record of success in negotiating lettings contracts
You will be looking to develop your career with a first-class estate agency, be comfortable dealing with properties up to £5000 per calendar month and communicating with intelligent individuals, professional and corporate clients.
You will be capable in negotiating relocation agent and PLC’s letting contracts. To act compliantly, a full understanding of the Housing Act is required.
You will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst remaining organised, focused and accessible.
An engaging and charismatic personality is essential, as is the commitment to provide exceptional service at every opportunity.
Hours
08:30-18.30 Monday to Friday
09:00-17:00 every other Saturday
